ggKBase is a service designed to assist in analyzing and integrating *omic data (e.g. metagenomics, proteomics, etc). The source code for ggKBase will be made available as an open source project.
You are encouraged to contact the development staff with issues related to usage of ggKBase. The ggKBase development staff as well as the members of the Banfield lab at the University of California, Berkeley, are not available to support outside research/computation requests.
We aim to make ggKBase the best resource possible and to make it accurate and available at all times; however, we cannot guarantee the correctness of any results, validity or integrity of the data, or the availability of the service: We cannot be held responsible for decisions made, losses suffered, or damages that resulted from using data from ggKBase.
We respect our user’s privacy and will not share any user registration details with anyone other than the ggKBase developers.

We reserve the right to perform additional data analysis to improve ggKBase, and we will not release user-contributed data without consent of the user.
Users of ggKBase are expected to properly cite any published work.
